General

1. Is there a minimum order requirement?
Yes, the minimum order requirement is 3 ID badges/cards. This minimum is required in order for us to cover the cost of processing very small orders.

2. Does your cards have a standard size?
Yes. 3 3/8" x 2 1/8" (like a standard credit card). Our cards have 1/8" diameter rounded corners just like a credit card too.

3. How thick are your cards?
Our cards are 30 mil in thickness. For reference, a standard credit card is 30 mils thick.

4. Can the cards be personalized?
Yes! We can personalize cards with sequential numbering, database numbering (PIN numbers), individual names and more.

5. I do not have a graphics designer, can you make a design for my company?
We would be happy to make a design for you. Our hourly rate starts at $50 per hour. Contact our graphic designers and they would be glad to help you with the quotes.

6. What is the difference between the setup fee and graphics design fee?
The setup fee is for creating and setting up the customer's template in our proprietary software, proofing, and database setup (if applicable). It does not include any graphics work. Our pricing is based on the customer supplying the artwork. As for the graphics design fee, it will be charged to the customers who requested us to design the artwork on their behalf.

7. If I have your company create a design for us, will I get to approve it before production starts?
Yes, you will receive an electronic proof before we start production. The work will have to be approved in writing before we proceed with production.

8. What is a proof?
A proof is a mock-up design of your card. It will be sent to you as a digital image so you could review it and check for errors before production starts.

9. What if there was an error on the proof or I did not like the proof?
Quality and satisfactory is our main goal and if any errors were found, we will have it quickly fixed to meet satisfaction. We are happy to offer you up to three FREE proof revisions on all new photo ID orders. Most companies only give you one free proof revision.

10. Do you send card samples?
We will gladly send you card samples at no charge as long as we have them in stock and as long as it is not a high dollar amount. Custom card samples will require a setup fee to cover for the processing cost. All sample cards will ship USPS so they take anywhere from 5-7 business days. If you wish to have your samples expedited, you will need to pay additional shipping costs.

11. How long will it take to receive my cards?
On the average, initial orders will take at least 4-14 business days for the product to arrive at your door after we have received your approval to begin production. Turnaround time vary depending on options, quantity, and production method. Re-orders generally take about 3-7 business days to arrive to you after receiving your order.

12. When is payment expected?
We require payment before final production begins.

13. How do I know that my order has been shipped?
When your order has been shipped, we will send you an email with your tracking number and a link to where you can track it online.

14. What are your shipping fees?
They are generated based upon the total amount of your purchase, the weight of the package, and your delivery zip code.

15. Can I get a refund if I change my mind on my order?
You can cancel before we start our final production. After we have received your written approval for production there are no refunds.

16. What is your return/exchange policy?
Please feel free to call or email us if you would like to return or exchange an item. We do not accept returns or exchanges on custom items unless there's a manufacturing error.


Photo ID

1. What kind of camera do I need?
Any digital camera that produces a jpg format photo that can be loaded into your PC.

2. Is a camera really all I need?
Yes, but you may choose to use a tripod and backdrop.       [Photo Tips]

3. Can I put my logo on the badge?
Yes, we will customize the badge to look just like you want it to. Click here for artwork specifications and requirements.

4. What is the best way to send the photos?
Just email the files to photoid@imgcard.com. Or you could mail a memory card, diskette, or CD to us. Be sure to use a bubble mailer to protect it. We can also scan your hard copy pictures for a nominal fee.

5. How should I name the photo files?
Name the photos by first name, then last name (eg. Jane Smith.jpg). IMPORTANT: The spelling of the names must match the names in the data feed file that you need to submit to us. If you use a nick name for the photo and put his/her real name in the data feed, our automated system will not be able to match the photo to the name listed in the data feed during production. Consequently, this will delay your order.

6. Can I place objects anywhere on the badge?
If you want a slot hole (for a strap clip or lanyard) punched in the badge, be sure your text and graphics aren't located where they will be punched out. The slot will be centered and extend to 5/16" from the edge of the card.
